To design, engineer, and manufacture a modular, space efficient, ergonomic retail checkout fixture that will allow for various multiple branded products. CVS initiative was to “elevate” their retail space and tied this initiative to the beauty elevation initiative. Over twenty plus brands participated in the development with an average four to six units to deliver in 8K plus retail locations.
Summit designed an aesthetic and extremely modular solution utilizing minimal components. A combination of slotted steel, wire, and injection molded components afforded complete flexibility in an extremely high trafficked area of the store environment.
A variety of products, from magazines to health snacks can be merchandised as needed in the very restricted space challenged checkout real estate. The permanent construction allows for up to 5 years in the field without wear and tear issues.
